In the never-ending battle for recruiting supremacy, the Butler Bulldogs have signed top Ohio basketball player Kyle Young. Some say it takes some luck but I would venture a guess that the strength of the Butler program, it’s recent move to the Big East and the Bulldogs appearances in the NCAA tournament go a long way to sway commits from nearby Midwest states. The Indianapolis Star covers the signing of Young.
The Bulldogs have long targeted Young, and their efforts paid off. He becomes one of the most touted out-of-state high school recruits in program history, if not the highest-ranked. Young is rated 89th by ESPN, 81st by 247Sports and 109th by Rivals.
